Riflespeed complete upper receivers are an ideal solution for anyone without the time, tools, or inclination to build an upper. Choose from a number of high-quality components selected from respected brands and industry friends and partners at a variety of price and feature levels. All 14.5” Riflespeed 5.56x45mm uppers include an RS7543 Gas Control and Riflespeed Gas Tube. Your Gas Control will be installed for tactical use by milling the barrel and cross-pinning the Gas Control Body. This creates the most professional duty grade installation possible with no chance of loosening set screws or slippage of the Gas Control causing malfunctions. Each upper will be test fired to verify performance. Configurations are subject to availability in the current market conditions.
***Note***
While we often have some uppers on the shelf ready to ship, uppers should be considered made-to-order. Typical lead times are 2-5 days, but can be more based on availability of components and personnel. We will have your upper completed, set up, validated on the range, and shipped to you as quickly as possible in every case. Feel free to email us with questions.

NO BS great product
Ok so let’s start this off bye saying yes it’s a bit pricey…. But after putting this thing threw the ringer I can’t believe I made it this long without it. I love to shoot and have land to do so I have put over 2500 rounds threw this and it has completely changed the game for me . A friend of mine gave me a bunch of crappy steel case 556 and we all know that stuff will jam you up , I was able to turn up my gas a knotch and it ran just like the good brass stuff. I was worried about it getting a bit hot seeing how it’s on the barrel but that was never a problem I even shot with my binary trigger and it never got to hot to operate. I was also expecting the recoil of the rifle to change the setting but agin it has proven me wrong if you are looking for a must have upgraded that does more than just look cool but functional this is it man hands down would think a few colors would be bad ass…just thinking out load

The hammer-forged barrels are primarily FN barrels. We occasionally use others like Centurion, but those are not available at the moment. Thanks for your interest in Riflespeed.

We frequently offer uppers with Criterion 1-8 twist barrels. Those are currently on order, but Criterion has long lead times at the moment. All in-stock 14.5" barrels are 1-7 twist.

Select the Master Blaster package for your assembled upper and we'll test fire for accuracy, determine the proper Gas Control settings for multiple types of ammo, and deliver a binder containing a full performance report with accuracy targets and a settings chart with ammunition types.

Who makes the chrome lined barrels on upper #7/8 ?

A:
We are currently using hammer-forged barrels made by FN. These may be marked either FN or Spike's Tactical, according to availability. Other makes of CHF barrels may be used in the future as availability is limited due to current market conditions. All components will be carefully assembled and tested to ensure that uppers meet our rigorous performance standards. All 5.56mm uppers are test fired and Gas Controls are tuned with an in-house test suppressor and while unsuppressed using M193 5.56x45mm ammunition. Thanks for your interest in Riflespeed!
