Questions and Answers
Riflespeed complete upper receivers are an ideal solution for anyone without the time, tools, or inclination to build an upper. Choose from a number of high-quality components selected from respected brands and industry friends and partners at a variety of price and feature levels. All 16” Riflespeed 5.56x45mm uppers include a Riflespeed Gas Control and Riflespeed Gas Tube. Your Gas Control will be installed for tactical use by milling the barrel and cross-pinning the Gas Control Body. This creates the most professional duty grade installation possible with no chance of loosening set screws or slippage of the Gas Control causing malfunctions. Each upper will be test fired to verify performance.

The pictures of this item show that it's a 1/8 twist and wylde chambered barrel. Is that still correct if ordering a #1 Option 16" upper?

We use a barrels from several manufacturers including Criterion, Centurion Arms, FN, and others based on availability. The Criterion use 1/8" twist, but the others use 1/7" twist. If you'd like a specific twist rate or barrel option please email

No mount is included in the standard price. We keep some mounts on hand for common applications and can add that if desired.

It shows option 3 for the 16 inch assembled upper I stock with the master blaster package but back ordered without, could I order it without the master blaster package?

Q:
Are the gas tubes installed inconel material for maximum heat resistance basically indestructible?

A:
We use milspec stainless tube. Our gas tubes are more durable than bent tubes due to the lack of those weak points. Inconel tubes are not recommended.
