** Note on new models RS7524, RS7536, RS7559: The last two digits of the model number represent the length of the assembly. You can use a ruler to see how each Gas Control model would lay out with your other components. Also note that the actual length of handguards varies by manufacturer. A handguard sold as a 13” model may not actually measure 13”, for example. The tan handguard pictured with the new RS7559 in the photo slider above is a Geissele 15” Mk8 model. The black handguard pictured with the RS7536 in the photo slider above is a 12.85” Forward Controls Design model. The enhanced grasping grooves on these new Limited Exposure Gas Controls wrap around the front of the Control Knob for easier adjustment even when the Control Knob is mostly underneath the handguard.
